Fr Aidan Troy C.P.

Born 9 October 1945, Bray, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. One of three children of Daniel and Elizabeth Troy.

Educated at Loreto Primary School, Bray and Christian Brother, Greystones, Co. Wicklow. Studied Philosophy and Psychology at University College Dublin, 1964-1967. Theological Studies at Clonliffe College, Dublin 1967-1971.

Entered Novitiate at Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh on 31 August 1963 and professed as a Passionist on 27 September 1964.

Ordained a Priest at St. Patrick's Training College, Drumcondra, Dublin on 19 December 1970 and has held the following assignments since ordination.

1971-1974:	Vocations Director: Passionist Monastery, Crossgar, Co. Down
1974-1980:	Preaching Ministry & Provincial Counselor, Mount Argus, Dublin
1980-1986:	Provincial Superior of St. Patrick's Province of Passionists.
1986-1988:	Studies at University of San Francisco, USA
1989-1994:	Preaching Ministry & Provincial Counselor, Mount Argus, Dublin
1994-2000:	General Counselor, Passionist Generalte, Rome
2000-2001:	Studies at Angelicum University, Rome
2001-	27 July: Arrived as Rector of Holy Cross, Ardoyne
